Topic | Why does it seem like Japan is making so many 'Isekai' shows? |
pokedude900 06/17/19 2:12:24 AM #9: | It's the current trend, and it's great for lazy writers who want to craft a world without worrying about how to naturally give exposition. The main character learns everything from scratch alongside the viewer. And don't get me wrong, there's quite a few isekai that I love, but it can get repetitive. Especially when 99% of them are medieval fantasy. Being sent to another world has limitless potential, yet it's always elves and dragons. soulunison2 posted... Because people gobble up that shit and it explains why Octopath is bad yet garners praise I don't think you understand what an isekai is. --- https://imgtc.com/i/f3GDDif.png https://imgtc.com/i/GN4PVC2.jpg Come to the (un)official GameFAQs Touhou board. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/1110- ...
