You have obvious undertones of their past relationship, DREW MAC seems to legitimately want to help his former bandmate and says he hates seeming him that way so he offers him some cash. Slater is initially hesitant to accept the money but ultimately goes to when its dropped on the ground and DREW MAC proceeds to beat the holy hell out of him until The Revival finally pull him off Slater... then The Revival quietly pocket the cash off the ground. This isn't even brilliant stuff.
