Yeah, I have nothing negative to say about him. The episode on the other had was a drag, and the ending was bad.
Speaking of endings, what the hell was even the ending to the 1st episode? I did not understand that at all. she gave him a matchbox presumably with the wedding ring in it and then went on a date while he went to go fuck his friend online again?
They agreed to have a cheat day, presumably once a month. So she goes to fuck a guy at a bar and homeboy gets down with his homie
it was really poorly written. like the writing was legitimately lazy; the only thing that would have really justified the episode would have been an actual confrontation with his wife so that the audience gets to actually see what the entire episode has been building up to. but instead they skip past the pay off and show us what happens after the emotional climax.
the endings letting me down were the only constant of the season for me. If their new thing is bad closure than that's just great
I thought the second ending was kinda brilliant.
You see this struggle for life between these two guys, one that you have been invested in for an hour or whatever. Then you don't see what happens and everyone just checks their phone and then puts it away. Showing that to everyone else, it was just another notification.
