That's fine for an experienced player.

All it takes is the bare minimum of comprehension. It's not rocket science. I could understand if you mess up the first time, and don't put points into a combat skill because you probably came from Oblivion or Skyrim and just assume your swings will connect. But after that, you'd think people would be reading either the manual or looking up tips online.

I'm not trying argue with you here, just pointing out that it is a very common hurdle for new players and always has been. Obviously there are workarounds for people who are willing to go that extra step. It is not for everyone.

It's not you I'm upset with, forgive me for being so...aggressive. I just hate the people that completely over exaggerate the "difficulty" of successful combat in Morrowind. Just take a look at the guy earlier in this topic, going on about how it takes thirty. fucking. minutes to beat some mudcrab. Are you fucking kidding me?! It's shit like that that gets perpetuated over and over, and what at first seems innocuous and facetious becomes truth and malevolence. People will accept it as fact, and it's those people that draw my ire - that deliberately misconstrue the combat of Morrowind. Holy FUCK does it piss me off.
