At best, the only thing a state can really do is forward the information on to ICE. Assuming, of course, the address given for the drivers license isn't bullshit. It's a crime to not have the right address on your license in NY. I believe it is a 100 dollar ticket if I remember right. I would venture the guess that someone who isn't even supposed to have an address in NY, may not be too honest about it. Wait so your license, registration, and insurance are all going to have a fake address on it?
