No, it was - and it increasing in prominence in SC and especially the 3rd were hints. Just as we "knew" the next arc would be Calvard like a decade ago. What happened was they intended to start it after SC then realized they had to/wanted to explore some dangling threads and set up some background and lore before they could properly do it and that's what led to Sky the 3rd being a thing. The plan was to go from SC right into Crossbell. Edit: Unless you mean there's some story floating around about the overarching plot like even before SC, in which case, I dunno, can't say I've heard it. --- xp1337: Don't you wish there was a spell-checker that told you when you a word out? ...
