Topic	Has an employee ever actually been fired to satisfy a customer?

An employee is just doing their job when an entitled customer walks in shenanigans ensue, manager is called, and the customer demands that they fire the employee as part of the 'compensation for all the hassle'. I'm curious. Has that ever actually happened? An employee getting fired just to satisfy the customer?
