get orange juice and put some salt in and chug it down, it should stop the adrenaline.

What's the backstory on this? I've never heard of that and now I'm curious.

Vitamin C has some useful effect on inhibiting Cortisol absorbtion or production when supplemented in larger quantities daily (Studies seem to use a threshold of 1000-1500mg for this purpose). It's something that likely needs to be done daily though as the beneficial effects are quite transient. It won't be particularly useful if you take some while you're already in the middle of an anxiety episode as your body still needs to absorb and transport the vitamin, which would likely take at least a few hours if we're being generous.

Vitamin C is a pretty legitimate and well studied supplement in general, so if you're only going to take one or two supplements a day it's a great choice.

And why put salt in it?
