Children of the 90s care because when we were children a lot of animated films preached save the environment, preserve these animals, look into alternate energy ideas.

We also got many films that taught look beyond yourself, dont just be out for number 1.

And behind those messages were people older than yourselves.

One of the biggest differences between kids of the 90s and kids of the 50s, I feel, is that the 90s kids want to make the world a better place for those that come after.

The kids of the 50s were one of the most politically radical generations ever, the driving force behind the social revolutions of the 1960s and 70s and who did most of the work to drag issues such as civil rights and environmental activism into the public consciousness.

True but what happened? Those same people were the ones praising Operation Enduring Freedom. 9/11 was terrible but infinitely occupying the middle east as a response goes against everything that people hated about Vietnam.
