So the system is broken. You don't get to just throw human rights out the window just because you can't manage a crowd.
The alternative would be to send them back where they came from immediately rather than giving them the chance to speak to a judge about asylum. We don't have enough judges to handle the cases, and 90% of the time, anybody who gets released on the "good faith" that they'll return for a follow-up hearing just ends up disappearing into the country.
It's a bad situation but it's the fault of multiple sides. The illegals for coming, congress for letting them stay/denying funding/refusing to build necessary infrastructure, and Obama for establishing the 'camps' to begin with.
It's not the border patrol's fault in any of these scenarios.
