If ac 2020 is more like origins in structure, I'll be down. If it's like odyssey in structure, I think I may pass.

The grind is oppressive after a certain point. Especially since once you get into the 70-99 range, upgrades also get very costly.

You know what killed me about levels is that originally the game was capped at 50 and then they increased it to 70 and then they increased it to 99 through patches.

But there wasn't any major event they tied the increase to 70 to. Unlike Origins, which capped at 40, then increased to 45 with DLC1 and then 55 with DLC2, they randomly decided to just include the increase in one of the major monthly patches, and stated that they had "no way" of retroactively rewarding XP you had earned passed the level 50 cap, even though it was all recorded. There was also going to be a bonus given out if you hit 70 by a certain date.

So what ended up happening is that if you had beaten the game already, the only way to get from 50 to 70 was to grind the arena and the bounties/contracts you could get in-game, which took forever. However, those who were just starting out or partway through had the advantage of having actual content left to finish. For someone like me, who had spent a vast majority of the second half of the game at level 50 and thus had probably millions of wasted XP points, it was basically just a slap in the face.
