I felt guilty because I didn't feel sad or break down in tears or anything. My whole family cried as we spent the last few moments with her, and I felt... Nothing. Literally nothing. Not sadness, not happiness. Just nothing. Saw my therapist and talked about it, and apparently that's not really all that unusual. But I still felt really guilty about it, and that took me a lot longer to "get over" than the actual death of my pet. --- Assassins do it from behind. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
