As callous as this seems, as a doctor, its staggering to see exactly how stupid the general population is and how insanely intelligent some of my colleagues are. I think Im probably top 3 in terms of medical knowledge and and self study as far as residents in my program, but I can be a little lazy and it pushes me so far back behind those with excellent drives and average intelligent for a resident/physician

Yeah that's basically how I am. I knew in college I had more innate gifted intelligence than most but I was a lazy sack of shit that partied too much so I only graduated with a B+ average.

When I pushed myself I was one of the best, but I never had the attention span to do that at all times. I think I have ADD and/or some sort of mental/social disability.
