Might just be names on a screen, but we'll listen.
I'm good. My mom called me this morning while I was eating breakfast and I had a cathartic cry about it pretty soon afterwards. Then I went to work in kind of a funk. I didnt tell any of my co workers which I think was a good idea, kept things lighthearted and normal.
I just feel terrible for his mother at this point. His father(my uncle) died of cancer 15 years ago and she raised him alone since he was 2 and now this. And she's a super sweet woman, not that anyone deserves this much shit in one life but she certainly doesn't.
The whole situation is just the definition of a tragedy.
Thank you all for condolences. I appreciate the kind words even if I dont directly respond to you
Appreciate that you're keeping in mind he's moms perspective. Reach out to her when you get a chance. But she must be completely overwelled.
And know that, she will probably always deep down blame herself for this. She won't outlive that feeling. ---
