I hate my job at a fast food restaurant, and I was thinking about doing Uber and Doordash instead of that since the jobs just sucks and the pay isn't that great :/. But my mother is insistent that I have a "real" job, even though I know people who make their living off of Uber and Doordash, and was thinking of doing those two as a form of part time gig while I focus on writing and school later next Spring.

I know my brother lied to my parents about his employment once a year of so after he graduated and was unemployed for two months, and when he worked he would just go to a friends house of sorts, and he also told me that he was going out with a girl in another close by town from my own.

The only problem that I would have with being "unemployed" is pushing myself to go out and get in my car and to go out and do making money with Doordash and Uber. Because I think instead of just going out and making money I might just bring a book with me and go read somewhere.
