| LapisLazuli 08/22/19 9:57:51 AM #1: | Since beating that game I've always been caught up in what a disappointment that story was, after playing through a whole series where story was everything. When a friend of my roomate was visiting last night the series came up briefly, and he asked which one I thought was the best, it suddenly hit me just how unparalleled every single other aspect of that entire game is other than the story. In fact, maybe one of the greatest games of all time? I've been struggling for the last half day with the thought that I've never actually enjoyed the act of moving around and interacting with the gameplay in a game more than V. Imagine if that game didn't flop on the story, what a landmark release in gaming that would have been. I mean, it IS, but it has that inescapable blemish that can never be erased. --- ...
