He was walking into the lobby of the luxury Manhattan Promenade building in the morning when the Elevator suddenly dropped and plunged towards the building's basement. He was killed as the top of the elevator crashed down on him effectively crushing him between the wall of the shaft and the lift One man had already walked into the lobby ahead of him but 5 others were still inside the elevator when it hurled downward.
