Topic	23-year old has $11K in student debt but still lives comfortably on $50K in NYC

She spends about $2200 and saves about $850. I know people making minimum wage that get by with families. A single person is very easy to afford even in NYC. At the same time, I know people making double or triple and they still whine. She could easily find a studio or apartment in other parts of the city. But lots of people like living in downtown Brooklyn, which is known to be expensive and is entirely on them for choosing an expensive area. --- It all just disappears, doesn't it?
