I think what I should do is just get a junky box with the best possible CPU in terms of budget and then, well, cannibalize my existing parts? mmmdmehehhehehhh... idk Ok, if I had a job I would just outright buy the parts, but I always feel guilty buying anything luxury for myself since I'm on disability... Newegg is having a sale right now, most PCs about 20% off... so I'm very interest. Most of their items have the i7-9700k, but if I'm looking into futureproofing to save money, I should get a better CPU out of the box, like the Ryzen 7, threadripper, or even the 9. --- "Salt cures Everything!"
