So from the article:
1) Allowing teachers w/ CC permits to keep their guns in locked vehicles
(Not sure how this would help unless a teacher is outside when shooting starts?)
2) Increasing number of marshalls on school property
(Seems reasonable)
3) Allowing foster parents to keep guns that are properly stored/locked
(Not sure about this one - seems we have lots of stories of kids finding guns, but I'm not sure what specific state laws were supposed to be in effect)
4) Prohibiting landlords from prohibiting tenants from keeping guns on premises
(I didn't realize landlords could do this to start with, seems a bit iffy)
5) Clarifies that citizens w/ CC can carry weapons during disaster/evacuation
(legally makes sense, but we also had incidents of people using guns to threaten other citizens)
6) Clarifies that CC holders can take weapons into places of worship
(I don't think it would have stopped Sutherland, as iirc the guy was shooting from outside the building. Also not sure how individual churches feel about this being forced on them?)
