Because what you're seeing is a party split not unlike the Tea Party Republicans from years ago. The reason people here are anti Biden is because they fundamentally disagree with the current Democratic platform and are seeking to rewrite it to fit their agenda.

It's literally the worst time for it. Biden would be a moderate presence, calming after the idiot we've had to put up with.


They see it as the opposite. The best time for a party shake up in their mind is when going up against the historically unpopular incumbent. If things are going relatively well, against somebody who isn't super aggressively hated, it's a much harder sell to push a significantly different agenda.

It's why there are so many Democrats running in the primary, because for a lot of them this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make president with an agenda that would otherwise get rejected.
