Nah that doesn't make sense.

No, because it's not about who she is inherently or any virtue of her own, and more a reflection of what she is - a female politician.

What she represents is "a woman in a position of power". Almost every female politician who is younger than 60 and who doesn't look like complete dogshit tends to spur the "Wow, she's hot" response from people online in ways you never really see for the majority of male politicians (which is part of why people are so quick to call that sort of reaction out as being incredibly sexist).

But again, it has literally nothing to do with her actual appearance, personality, or how she carries herself. And again, if you met someone who looked exactly like her in a context where it was just a random stranger and you had no idea who she was, very few people would ever give her a second glance, and you wouldn't even remotely give a shit. In essence, the fact that she's a woman in power is in and of itself 90% of the reason why people react to her that way at all.

Aside from that she just looks like a regular woman really

When you're comparing a 30-year old woman to other women, and almost everyone you're comparing her to are angry severe bony ghouls in their late 50s and up, it's going to up her average considerably.
