Kanji Tatsumi from Persona 4 182 Points 16 List Appearances Ange - A character that's known for both being hilarious but also for breaking stereotypical gender norms a bit before it became a lot more of the in thing to do in current western society. He has his insecurities and both his main plot development and Social Link establish what he goes through in both a funny and heartwarming way. And he accomplishes that while still being a badass that fights with a chair. Tangy - Is Kanji my favorite Persona character? No, but I will say hes probably the most well written, fully fleshed out character. Hes a character that challenges the very idea of masculinity, while most consider it being all macho and a bit of an ass. Kanji learns to accept his softer side and ends up being more the most considerate member of the investigation team. I also think the topic of sexuality when it comes to Kanji is handled incredibly well. It makes it clear that the stance on sexuality isnt as clean cut and simple as everyone seems to think.
