I argue he would have been mid fodder prior to the smash announcement, due to some limited nostalgia and the sheer amount of games he has been in (Fatal Fury, KoF, Capcom vs SNK). And AH YOO AWKAY?! I say Fodder Line for Piccolo. He is a very well-liked side character who is always involved in the happenings of the show and doesn't "retire" from being a Z Fighter like the human characters. I think his depiction in DBZ abridged is very popular too. Agree with Low Fodder for Freddy.
