You have essentially created deterministic automatons that can only follow the rails you'd laid down for them, and even when they can "make decisions", they're only experiencing the illusion of choice. TC said they would be made good, not someone's interpretation of good. Also, good-aligned peeps don't always follow a specific action for a given situation. There is variance and they are generally good.
