| Gafemage 09/09/19 10:44:34 PM #55: | I was in 1st grade at the time, so I don't remember a lot; my sat down on the floor in front of our teacher like we would when he'd read us part of a book and he told us the basics of what had happened - I think he might've shown a brief news clip or at least played some radio coverage. This went on for about 10-15 minutes and afterward we just went about our day like normal - I guess since we were so young our teacher + the school administration didn't want us to dwell on it too much. Honestly it didn't feel much different from any other day of school at the time, but memories feel so daunting in hindsight. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
