| jcgamer107 09/11/19 10:23:39 PM #1: | https://www.austinchronicle.com/daily/music/2019-09-11/austin-songwriting-genius-daniel-johnston-dead-at-58/ I highly recommend the documentary "The Devil and Daniel Johnston" for anyone who hasn't seen it - the guy reminded me of Elliott Smith in that he dealt with really difficult, intense psychological pain but wrote pure, honest music that at times had a healing quality to it. Daniel's stuff was simpler, and more rough around the edges, but he was a unique and fascinating songwriter, who left behind a large collection of visual art as well.      --- Official Advokaiser advocate ...
