Very recently Ive been playing the X series from 1 to 4 for the first time. The sigma fight in the first game was a puzzle, especially the final form. The first two fights were no problem really, the second phase was boring even because I just baited him to wall jump and hit him on his way down over and over until he died. It was the final phase where I fucked up a lot. I only had two sub tanks and couldnt find safe ways to hit him repeatedly so I died a lot.

Then I finally beat him, but I die at the same time as him from getting too eager and soft lock myself out of the ending. I did a buster only run today though and managed to beat him legit tho.
