The city is super walkable and me and my friends use that to our advantage while visiting. Exactly. If you can lay it out in your head, you can go pretty much anywhere without using transit. I've walked from South Station to Fenway Park, I've walked from Mission Hill to Back Bay. I've walked from Umass Boston to the Boston Medical Center..... It's really, really doable. As someone who loves walking, it is why I love the city.
