So what was the ban on? We already have a no fly list, why did we need this blanket ban on certain majority muslim countries?

Again, how is a ban on a few countries a ban on all Muslims? If this was true, then America has been waging a war on all Muslims for almost 2 decades.

A genuine, hate-fueled Muslim ban would include all or most of Earths 51 majority-Muslim nations.

In fact, a grand total of five majority-Muslim countries are restricted: Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, and Yemen. All but Iran are destabilized and have heavy terrorist activity and even Iran is an enemy.

The travel limit also includes North Korea, an officially atheist state with a pre-Communist history steeped in Confucianism, not Islam.

Certain Venezuelan travelers also are proscribed. Like North Korea, Venezuela is neither Middle Eastern nor predominantly Islamic. Pew Research reports that its approximately 73 percent Catholic and 17 percent Protestant. Venezuela is 0.3 percent Muslim.

So clearly, this isn't close to a ban on Muslims. If it is, it's an awful one. My family is Muslim and would have had no issue traveling since our country wasn't on the list.

The premise of your argument and the logic behind it is beyond stupid if you're trying to argue that Trump banned all Muslims.

It's factually incorrect and doesn't make sense in any coherent way.
