I thought it'd be more even It's pretty standard opinion that the first game is more boring compared to 2, tons of people shit on the presequel for not being different enough, 3 only just came out and has problems of its own, and a lot of people have either never played Tales or just don't like the radically different playstyle. I would have assumed 2 running away with it was a foregone conclusion.
