I can guarantee any young chick that wants to fuck gets thrown into the "smarter/skilled/capable" section just so you can justify your moves. That's the problem right there.

But you must know that part of what we base age of consent on is societal structure. Currently, society is set up in such a way that most people aren't done with high school until they're 17/18. High school is seen as a place for kids (older ones nearing adulthood, but kids nonetheless). It's no coincidence that the age of graduation coincides with the age of legal consent.

Now, what if the society was one in which the average person is 15/16 by the time they're done with high school and off into "the real world"? Should they still have to wait 2 or 3 years to start having legal sex with 20-year-olds? Is 16 too young no matter what, or too young based on that age group's average maturity? Hell, is the current age of consent too young? I used to argue that it should be 20, but what makes me right or wrong about that?

If we base it on biology alone, you get people saying 12 & 13 should be the age of consent. That's just gross and disturbing. But if we base it on maturity and life experience, it gets a little trickier because those things can vary based on culture/societal structure.

Im not disagreeing that maturity should play a part. Because my main thing is about manipulation and more mature people can't be manipulated as easily. Im just saying those rules don't work in the real world.
