I wonder how you're supposed to get here without any undead people in the party. Maybe rent some generic ones on the ship (isn't that what the lizard chick does?), have them go in and trigger a waypoint, then bring everyone over? I usually don't have undead in my party. Iirc, there is an invisible "bridge" of sorts which you can see using that one sight source ability. It's right next to a waypoint too.
