I guess Zelda II? Everyone seems to rag on it, but I don't even think it's in the bottom 3 games of the series. Definitely better than the original Legend of Zelda. Deal with it.

I'm 27, which is still too young to have really appreciated the NES/SNES days, and I know Aaantlion/Zeus is like 40 at least.

It's more that most games on the NES can be considered bad today. The Legend of Zelda has aged extremely poorly, same with Super Mario Bros, Castelvania, and Metroid. The only games I feel that still hold up are Punch Out and Super Mario Bros 3.

The SNES is different, games generally have aged much better on the SNES than even on the N64. But with that system I'm still not sure there's a true consensus on what is good/bad.
