For me nothing really beats Day 5 of a tight cricket match. For example when NZ came back to win on the final day in their first test against Pakistan late last year. No one really saw it coming. Not much comes close to the best games of rugby I've seen, but the worst ones are absolute hot garbage with no redeeming qualities. It's quite similar to football/soccer in that regard.
