Topic	The backlash against Columbus Day is a capitalist ploy to take worker PTO.

I have literally never heard anyone suggest we do away Columbus Day without in the same breath saying it should be replaced with Indigenous Peoples' Day or some other kind of similar holiday. It may just be anecdotal but at my current job which I started a few months ago, they got rid of it without adding another one. At my previous job they gave us a different day off, but my previous job had a lot more millennials in management. So you're blaming millennials... for not being entitled and not wanting more days off....?
