It's the 2nd to last day of round 1, I get really excited around these times knowing the longest round of the tournament is almost over! It's like a new tournament is about to begin in a few days! What is your fondest gaming memory?
So many to choose from so I'll pick one single player memory and one multiplayer memory
Single Player: Virmire in Mass Effect. Specifically making that critical choice in the mission. I was used to just being a jerk in games like this. But this choice caught me off guard. I didn't want to make a call like that and I hadn't encountered anything like it in a video game before. Instead of choosing a good or bad choice I was choosing two bad options. I just sat and stared for a while a lot like Shepard was during that dialogue choice.
Multiplayer: Playing split screen Gears of War with my high school buddies with cheesy 80's songs as a custom soundtrack. The gore, headshots and shotgun duels perfectly fit cheesy love songs

If you could get a sequel to one series, what would it be?
Movies - Spider-Man 4 with the entire cast returning. I love Marvel and superhero movies in general. Spider-Man 2 is my favorite movie of all time and I still remember watching it in theaters when it came out. Spider-Man 3 was kind of a dud (though still watchable) but the entire ending was just bad. Very depressing for a freaking Spider-Man movie.
TV - I guess LOST? After LOST ended I lost a ton of interest in TV shows so a sequel or even a prequel could be interesting.
Game - Uh there are many. A sequel to Perfect Dark (the X360 one doesn't count) would be my first pick. Of all the games on the Nintendo 64 this has got to be my favorite and it's about time we get a sequel.
What is your fondest gaming memory?
This one is tough because there are so many. I don't play games very much anymore and I mostly buy games, play them for an hour and lose interest. So all I have now when it comes to games are my memories.
- Playing World of Warcraft for the first time. I remember when it came out and it was so controversial but I didn't want to play because I was afraid people would tell me I have no life. After like four years of knowing about it I decided screw it, and bought the game + Burning Crusade + Wrath of the Lich King and got hooked. More WoW memories include soloing Lich King for the first time and getting the mount and my guild going CRAZY. Getting the phoenix mount after like 80 attempts. And all the times I trolled dungeons and low level scrubs in The Barrens with my cousin Franklin.
- My mom buying me a Gameboy Color and Pokemon Yellow for my birthday. The first night she let me stay up as long as I wanted just to play. I might be remembering wrong but I think I got all the way to Team Rocket in Mt. Moon before going to bed.
- Beating Final Fantasy 9 for the first time. This is something I will never forget. I became so emotionally invested in this game that I nearly cried when I saw the ending. This is my favorite game of all time because to me it is literally perfect. I don't even know how many hours I put in this game but of any console game ever this is for sure my most played game as it usually takes me 20 - 30 hours to beat it and I think I've beaten it somewhere around 30 times.
