Literally no I haven't I'm pro do something about climate change. I just think emotional speeches by teenagers are just there to make you feel good and have no lasting impact. Protests barely accomplish anything. Look at all the protests over police shootings. Police still basically get to kill without much meaningful oversight. Protests just play into other issues. People need to be better educated about this stuff. Raising awareness only really go so far. Reducing climate change is such a complicated discussion. You need to start making real plans for dealing with that. Everything is so interconnected yet separate. You can't just point the finger at a single company or group of companies. Companies all over the world do a variety of things and they compete with each other. Thunberg's speech is basically just preaching to the choir --- just tell them all your base doesn't belong to us because we were getting stoned...they'll understand-Ken156 ... Copied to Clipboard! |
