Yeah I mean I know why it happened it's just odd. I used to live about 40 minutes from King's Island so I went all the time.

I could understand if Paramount just wanted to get out of the theme park business but there's no way that Peanuts is more successful than Nickelodeon/Cartoon Network.

I'm guessing it's as simple as Cedar Fair didn't want to shell out for the rights on those, especially since I believe they already had the Peanuts licenses locked down. (Also of course Paramount and Nickelodeon are both owned by Viacom, which would've simplified that licensing deal in the same way Marvel now handles the majority of Star Wars comics.)
