lol this game is going to get shit on so hard based on what early impressions are saying
Anyway, no, RE2 is still GOTY.
I've only seen one bad early impression and it was from Giantbomb. Everyone else said it was amazing
My dude there was a mile long resetera thread with people talking about the monotonous gameplay, reused assets, side quests sending you all the way back across the map to areas you've already been, driving not being a viable option because of terrain, side quests being forced on you as part of the main quest, if you don't carry the bodies of enemies you kill up mountains to incinerators, they spawn BTs....extremely monotonous.
I've read good, I've read bad...but everyone seems to agree this game is going to be extremely divisive. There is no way it will win GOTY.
Ugh a whole lot of that reminds me of similar mistakes MGSV made. ---
