If you have any type of sexual disease you should let the other person know before you engage in an act that could potentially transmit the disease to them.

Just because theres a form of treatment doesnt mean you shouldnt have to tell someone, what if they forget to take their medication? The person without disease deserves to know.

You should tell the other person about the disease and tell them youre on the medication, if they still say no then oh well. Not telling them is extremely selfish.

Thats not really how HIV/AIDS meds work. You need to be extremely religious about taking them daily. Miss more than a few days in a given sixth month period and theres a good chance the virus will build up a resistance to the meds and youll be screwed.

Also you dont just miss your meds one day and all of a sudden become viral again. If youre on antiretroviral drugs, undetectable and quit them for good, cold turkey it will be months or even years before you can transmit it again. And by then youll quite possibly be sick again anyway, fatally so.
