Didn't watch the video, but it seems like it's about the Rare Earth Hypothesis, which is outdated and highly restrictive.

There's anywhere from 100 billion to 500 billion planets in this galaxy alone. About a trillion in our sister galaxy.
It's not talking about it being fact, it talks about it a bit but mostly talks about what makes us a golden world.

It can be both, in a sense.

There can be life out there that we'll never reach. Everything is constantly getting further from everything else, even if we could get light speed travel, it wouldn't be enough to catch up.

Not necessarily true. Getting sufficiently close to c can theoretically let you travel the entirety of the universe
