As a veteran, I can assure you that we don't train to assault children. Acting like a soldier would be a step up in this scenario

I remember seeing one vet talk about police shootings once, and he said it was absolutely insane that when he was in Iraq, where there were individuals that he knew for a fact wanted him dead, he had tighter rules of engagement for using deadly force than cops in their own hometowns.
