Yeah there are healthier pugs and then ones that have lots of issues. Avoiding getting one from a private breeder or puppy mill is best. Those poor dogs have been so overbred that most of the ones that are born dont even survive and the ones that do have breathing and teeth problems from their flat snouts and their eyes can pop out of their head.

You can find pugs that arent so tragically overbred though. Or find mixed breeds, Ive got a couple pug/beagle mixes that are both healthy little goobers.
