Wearing pants in hot weather has always came off to be as an insecurity tho. I compare it to how I use to have second thoughts of being shirtless cause of how skinny I am. When you're sidelining comfort so dramatically, there's something going on. They'll say "I just prefer to wear pants all the time" but of course they would. You cover up insecurities by acting like what you're doing is just a preference. Maybe a small number actually do but I've seen a pattern in the types that cover up even when it directly conflicts with comfort.
