Topic	In ESB, what would have happened if Luke had agreed to join Vader?

Obi-Won made no effort to even hide Luke's identity in giving him the same last name as his father and raising him on his father's home planet. Not to mention Luke was living with Anakin's relatives. I'm starting to think that maybe George Lucas was making it up as he went along.
