It has virtually every movie ever released available to stream (most at a one-time cost, but at least they're there); it has decent original series (not better than Netflix); but most importantly it has the entire HBO catalog pre-2017 or so (so all of The Sopranos, Deadwood, The Wire, Six Feet Under, etc.).
