Reg posted...performs better if you have a ton of tabs <_< Yeah, Mozilla's dev team has worked super hard over the past couple years to improve performance, and it's been pretty noticable. Most recently, either the current version or the next one (can't remember which) has some long-awaited fixes for power consumption and CPU usage on Mac specifically. Going hard on the anti-tracking/pro-privacy angle is a more recent initiative from them. (That said, just saying "yeah it's faster and doesn't leak memory now", even knowing that there are technical changes to support it, is just an anecdote from me, and I can't guarantee that something about your configurations, extensions, or even sites you visit won't cause a different experience. For example, Google is notorious for implementing their sites in ways that abuse non-standard technologies to make them faster on Chrome (And other browsers using the same engine) and slower on other engines, which is basically just Firefox/Gecko at this point, and shitty webdevs are increasingly testing/optimizing exclusively on Chrome at the expense of Firefox, not unlike the IE6 days) ...
