I follow GRRMs not-a-blog weekly and keep up with the general happenings on r/asoiaf - probably the best hub for that kind of news.

If TWOW was released next year I wouldnt be surprised. 2021 at the latest. His pace is a joke, for sure, but the world crafted is so damn rich, the moment I read A Game of Thrones Ive never lost interest in the series.

Ive always heard great things about WoT but never gave it a look. On top of the sheer amount of books in the series, Id heard RJ writes weak female characters which kinda put me off. And Im not a fan of Mistborn (stopped after book 1) so Im not sure how much Id get out of Sanderson either.

Breaking Bad is my favorite TV drama, possibly my favorite TV show outright. Watched the whole series, then rewatched it a month after it wrapped up with my girlfriend. Ive never seen her react so strongly to any form of media.

KP, have you read The Witcher series? Im halfway through and its pretty good.
