Topic | Do you use an electric razor usually? |
captpackrat 11/19/19 9:52:38 PM #22: | For my face, I use a Colonel Ichabod Conk double-track razor. It takes the old Trac-II type cartridges. I bought 100 generic blades for about $14 from Amazon. I'm really cheap when it comes to replacing blades and I think I've gone through about 20 in 3 years, so I've got about 12 years before I need to buy new blades. For the coin purse & thermal exhaust port trench, I use a Mach 3. I don't remember when I changed the blade last, but I think I've been using the same blade for years. It just doesn't seem to get dull. Maybe those hairs are softer, and it's a fairly small area I use it on. For broader body areas, I use a Philips Norelco BodyGroom 7100. It's waterproof, rechargeable, and has a trimmer on one side and a razor on the other. I've found an electric is generally less likely to cause razor burn than a blade. I only have to charge it like once a month or so. --- Minutus cantorum, minutus balorum, Minutus carborata descendum pantorum. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
